According to the The Smoking Gun,  Jackson offered the stripper and her co-extorter $200K.

The guy is a co-pastor with his wife at a church in SoCal and he attempts to sprinkle in his religious beliefs into his coaching.  Jackson is an ordained minister.  Guys like that many times have skeletons in their closet...

The writer/director of SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE passed away today at 71.  I'm actually watching the film in honor of her while writing this post.   Ephron wrote a favorite film of mine WHEN HARRY MET SALLY which was directed by Rob Reiner.

Excellent HBO show starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus playing the Vice President.

Didn't watch Julia's other shows after Seinfeld, but this one is well written and I foresee Louis-Dreyfus getting movie roles from VEEP.

I just read she's heading to New York to open a pizzeria.  I met her at the Sports Club LA in San Francisco and she is a very nice person.  I used to go to Citizen Cupcake in the old Virgin Records to get cookies and I went to her Citizen Cake on Fillmore a few times.

I never went to Orson or her original Citizen Cake location.

Elizabeth hasn't had much success in her recent restaurant ventures.   I hope she does well in NY...
