The former Montreal Expo and New York Mets catcher just died at 57. Too young to die. Carter was part of the 1986 World Series Champion Mets.
A Hall of Famer. Carter also played briefly with the Dodgers and my San Francisco Giants.
Carter succumbed to brain cancer.
