Saw the 2008 Tony Award winner for Best Musical this afternoon. It was simply phenomenal! One of the best musicals I've ever seen in my life. Best one of recent note and I'm a big JERSEY BOYS and MAMMA MIA fan.
The above pic was taken just before todays matinee. Apparently, one is not supposed to take photos in the theater. And my camera is set to Cali time. The afternoon show starts @ 2pm.
The majority of the cast is from the Off-Broadway production which debuted in 2007. Carlos Gomez, who I recognized as Chuy in FOOLS RUSH IN is a replacement for the Broadway version.
A great, great musical...
