Congrats for hitting home run 600! There was a time when Griffey seemed to be a shoo-in to break Hank Aaron's home run record. Injuries really hurt his career. And I'm not sold that Jr. was steroid free for all those years. Steroid use also = injuries. Look @ Mark McGuire, he was always hurt. Nomar Garciaparra, Canseco, Jeff Bagwell, Brett Boone- the list goes on and on...
Griffey needs to go back to the Mariners and revitalize the franchise...
