Tanrei junmai sake by Murai Family. It's quite smooth with a decent finish... Again I want to reiterate, I am no expert on sake, nor am I competent @ describing the flavor characteristics of nihon shu... Alcohol content 14.5%. Tanrei means special. To me, this sake isn't that special...
The rice is milled to 65% of original grain. Rice used is Mutsuhomare from Aomori prefecture.
I have one more bottle of the three pack sampler of Murai Family sake that I bought from Costco. The box that comes with the sampler has writing that is very, very informative. I'm almost ready to taste the last bottle right now!
