ZING- energy, enthusiasm, or liveliness. strong or piquant flavor. My friend Allen Nakamura uses this word a lot in regards to food and in some cases people... We ate @ Top Dog in Berkeley last week and he said, "the hotdog is just okay, it didn't have that ZING..." It didn't have that ZING because he didn't put that blazing hot russian mustard on his dog...
