GOHAN- Japanese for cooked rice. Pronounced go-hon. Hon like Hondo. John Havlicek's nickname. Or han like Han's Hibachi- a korean restaurant in the City that makes good chicken. Uncooked rice is OKOME. Since it isn't the word of the day, I won't tell you how to pronounce it... I could say impress your server @ a Japanese restaurant and ask them for more GOHAN, but more than likely you won't need any more and they might not even understand you... And that joint could be like Sushi Man and charge you extra for GOHAN...
